This week for writing in my class, we have been doing a persuasive letter to a friend, and trying to convince them not to go to war.
Dear Edmund.
Thank you for your letter that you have sent to me.
I love your enthusiasm about fighting in the war, but it is very dangerous and there is a good chance that you will die. You would have to kill others and then feel sad. It would be very hard because you would need to avoid all of the bullets being fired at you. But if you still decide to go I will support you.
